Ich bin eine Astrophysikerin und Postdoktorandin am Institute für Astrophysik der Universität Wien und am Konkoly-Observatorium in Budapest.
Mein Forschungsgebiet sind Trümmerscheiben - die Überreste von Planetenentstehungs- und -entwicklungsprozessen um Sterne. Diese Scheiben bestehen aus Kometen, Asteroiden und Staub und sind Nachfahren der protoplanetaren Scheiben in denen sich Planeten formen.
Ich untersuche die Beschaffenheit von Scheibenpopulationen und ihre spektralen Energieverteilungen indem ich verschiedene Modellierungscodes verwende. Des Weiteren bin ich bei Scheibenbeobachtungen mit Teleskopen wie dem Very Large Telescope (VLT) und dem neuen James-Webb-Space-Telescope involviert.
I am an astrophysicist and post-doctoral researcher at the Department for Astrophysics at the University of Vienna (Austria) and the Konkoly Observatory in Budapest (Hungary).
My field of interest are debris discs - the remnants of planet formation and evolution processes around stars. These discs are made of comets, asteroids and dust and are the successors of protoplanetary discs where planets form.
I investigate the morphologies of disc populations and spectral energy distributions by using different modelling approaches. Furthermore, I am involved in disc observations done with telescopes like the Very Large Telescope (VLT), and the upcoming James Webb Space Telescope.
